Cheranissa Roach is currently the Economic Opportunity Manager for Washtenaw County. In her role, she helps bring equity to the areas of entrepreneurship and workforce development.  Ms. Roach is a dedicated Human Service professional who seeks to make a difference in the lives of others. An experienced Operations Manager who has over 20 years of experience working with State Government and Nonprofits, she is a proponent of personal empowerment and is dedicated to helping people live their best life now! Her specialties include problem solving, coaching, managing others, training, public speaking, business plan composition, business development and business consulting.

Ms. Roach has a Master of Science Administration Degree and is a certified Diversity Trainer and a Certified Wellness Trainer with the Professional Woman Network. She is also a Certified Life Coach and published Author. She is also President and Chief Executive Officer of C.D.R. Consulting L.L.C. a consulting and coaching organization dedicated to helping mothers live their dream lives while raising their children. She conducts seminars and workshops for corporations and individuals. She has worked with people from all walks of life with professional and personal crises by being compassionate, challenging and respectful. She has 14 years of experience coaching women in business and through life transitions. She has helped over 750 people launch small businesses and over 500 women improve their personal lives. She has given presentations to over 10,000 people sharing messages of hope and healing for personal life enhancement.

Ms. Roach has co-authored 4 books, 2 of which have been Amazon best sellers, featured in local and online print publications, her words have helped many make better choices and find the strength to move forward. She also holds certifications in Women's Issues and Diversity, Women's Journey to Wellness, Mind, Body and Spirit, Life Coaching and Entrepreneurship. 

An avid reader and writer, Ms. Roach enjoys learning and feels that she has more to give and is looking forward to her latter being greater and she embraces everyday with enthusiasm and love.
